Border-Wide EE Coalition

The Border-Wide EE Coalition was born over eight years ago out of the desire of many environmental educators across the region to increase collaboration and communication between groups and individuals doing EE in conjunction with the Border 2012 program.  The Coalition, which began at the BorderEE Web online database, has been transformed into a network of individuals and organizations interested in and promoting environmental change and conservation all along the US-MX border region. As part of this initiative, the Exchange coordinated the first Border-Wide EE Conference in Ciudad Juarez, a binational, bilingual gathering of environmental educators from the entire US-Mexico Border Region, presented by the EPA Border 2012 Program and the North American Association for Environmental Education (www.bordereeweb.net).
