Tucson Toolkit

The Tucson Toolkit: Perspectives on Our Water for Middle School Students is a five lesson water education curriculum designed for middle school students. It focuses on the water cycle, water supply, water usage, environmental concerns, and water conservation. The curriculum has been specifically adapted to fit into local science classes, and all activities are aligned with ADE standards. Students can also receive low-flow showerheads for their homes to continue the process of being aware and responsible toward their personal use of water. The Tucson Toolkit is sponsored by Tucson Water and offered free of charge to Tucson-area teachers and students.  The Teacher’s Guide can be downloaded at www.outreach-scheduling.org.  Teachers can request free student workbooks, shower timers and flow rate bags by contacting the Outreach Education Coordinator at outreach@eeexchange.org or 670-1442.
